Description
Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10 intends to solicit a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Nurse Practitioner to perform Medical Officer of the Day services on-site at the Department of Veteran Affairs Northern Indiana Health Care System (VANIHCS), at 1700 E. 38th St., Marion, IN 46953. The RFQ number will be 36C25020Q0459 and is expected to be posted on or around May 4, 2020. The resultant award will be a firm-fixed price contract with a one-year base period and the possibility of four, one-year option renewals to be exercised at the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The NAICS Code assigned to this procurement is 621399, Offices of All Other Miscellaneous Health Practitioners with a business size standard of $8 Million. The Nurse Practitioner MOD will be the sole provider on duty during the prescribed hours of coverage and shall have experience with providing care to residents who need geriatric, medical, and/or mental health care. The NP and must have a current license to practice as a nurse practitioner in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the Unites States or the District of Columbia. The contractor shall propose adequate key personnel/FTEE to be credentialed, privileged, and be available for scheduling to meet the requirements of the resultant contract. All information for this solicitation will be posted to beta.SAM.gov, contractors are advised that they are responsible for checking the website periodically for amendments. No hard copies will be provided. A question period will be opened at the time of solicitation posting and will close on or about 5 days after solicitation posting. Questions must be submitted in writing. Answers will be provided through amendment(s) posted to beta.SAM.gov after the question period closing. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Firms offering a response to this notice should ensure that their registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database https://www.sam.gov/SAM is current and should ensure that the applicable NAICS Code is included in the SAM profile prior to submission of quotations. No response to this notification is necessary. The sole purpose is to provide interested parties with a preliminary notice of the forthcoming solicitation.
