Description
2021 Presidential Inauguration Bus Transportation Description of Services Under this task, the Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, fuel, equipment and other items necessary to provide Charter Bus Transportation Service support to the Government for the upcoming 2021 Presidential Inauguration Parade. Transportation service will be required for two (2) separate dates, Sunday, January 17, 2021 (Rehearsal Day) and Wednesday, January 20, 2021 (Inauguration Day). Requirements Rehearsal Day - Sunday, January 17, 2021. The Contractor shall: Provide twenty-six (26), 55-passenger coach buses with lavatories to transport approximately 1,400 personnel from various locations to include Walter Reed-Bethesda, Washington Navy Yard, Fort Meade, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Andrews Air Force Base, and the United States Naval Academy. Buses shall be in safe, reliable operating condition with climate control and be clean and free of debris or graffiti. The Contractor will also provide qualified, licensed drivers to operate these buses. The Contractor shall also designate alternate bus operators to mitigate contingencies when the primary operator is unavailable. Buses shall be staged at each site no later than (NLT) 5 am Eastern Standard Time (EST). for pick up. Operators shall transport personnel to returning location no later than 5 pm. the same day. Quantities of buses for each location are identified in Enclosure (1). Alterations with regards to route information such as date, time, pick up and drop off locations may occur within a 48 hour time period in the event of any change(s) to ceremonial requirements. Quantities of buses for each location is annotated in Enclosure (1). �Alterations with regards to route information such as date, time, pick up and drop off locations may occur within a 48 hour time period in the event of any change(s) to ceremonial requirements. ???????Additional Requirements Credentialing Requirements: Contracted bus drivers will require credentials from both the US Secret Services (USSS) and the US Capitol Police (USCP). The Contractor will be required to provide all documentation for their drivers no later than Monday, 09 November 2020 by 1200 pm (EST) for review and approval. Contractor must follow requirements listed in Enclosure (2) and also provide of a list of primary and secondary drivers using the template provide in Enclosure (3). Note: Primary Drivers are either those who are planned to drive for the first or the second shifts during the day. Secondary Drivers are drivers who are on standby or backup incase a primary driver is unavailable. To safely email the Drivers� Personnel Identifiable Information (PII) the Contractor is recommended to utilize the AMRDEC SAFE website located at https://safe.amrdec.army.mil/safe/Welcome.aspx. Instructions for use are available on the website.
