Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE to Avonics Interface Technologies RFQ# N66001-20-Q-6409 The proposed contract action is for Repair and UPGRADE of RMA VME Boards, which the Naval Warfare Information Center Pacific(NIWC PAC SD) San Diego intends to solicit this requirement on a sole source basis to Avonics Interface Technologies Address: 14769 California Street, Suite #2, Omaha, NE 68154, under the authority of Far 13.106-1(b) (1). Justification: Under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)1;Sole source justification is based on Avonic Interface Technologies Only one source exists with no known distributors of the required product and the ONLY company that can provide the VME Upgrade Boards. This is a solicitation for Supplies, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all proposals received within TWO (2) days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of the determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This announcement constitutes only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
