Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a FFP (Firm Fixed Price) Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-17-G-0013 on a sole source basis with BAE Systems, Information and Electronics (BAE Systems), Nashua, New Hampshire.� The effort will correct the known trouble reports documented against the AN/UPX-45(C). This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to BAE in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under Title 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by FAR Part 6.302-1, �Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.�� BAE is the only company with the unique knowledge, experience, special skills, facilities, manufacturing techniques, and technical data required to support the above-mentioned Combat Identification systems.
