- Description
- The 16th Weather Squadron (16WS) has a requirement for Amazon Web Service (AWS) Cloud Service Provider (CSP) credits. The 16WS anticipates purchasing 157,500 credits. All credits will be made available for expenditure/use by the 16WS within five days of purchase order signature. The purchase order will be awarded using a quote and is anticipated to be awarded on or around 01 June 2020. The intended source for this contract is StackArmor. This requirement is considered sole source due to the lead time necessary to establish an AWS account and the time needed by the government to provision/configure a new virtual private cloud (VPC). These credits are being purchased to accommodate an unanticipated surge in cloud credit usage so that the 16WS does not experience a break in service while a larger CSP contract is being competed. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. An offeror must meet the following qualification requirements in order to be eligible for award: The company must be able to provide Cloud Service Provider (CSP) capabilities in regions designated for US Government only use and commercial. Those CSPs must have the capability to host Impact Level 6 (IL6) based on the DoD Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (SRG). The company must be authorized to offer CSP capabilities in those US Government only regions up to IL 4. The company must be capable of providing payment services (credits) on behalf of wholly government operated accounts. The company must make all purchased credits available for use within five days of purchase order award. This time includes any coordination with AWS that needs to take place, and the time needed by the government to provision/configure a new virtual private cloud (VPC). Be registered in System for Award Management (SAM.gov). There is no technical data required to respond to this notice.
