- Description
- The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is conducting additional market research, and is issuing DRAFT Solicitation No, N00024-20-R-LCSDRFT for Industry comment prior to the finalization and release of the official Request for Proposals (RFP).� This draft solicitation supports the Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) homeported in Mayport, FL.� NAVSEA is currently contemplating establishing a Multiple Award Contract (MAC) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) for sustainment execution work. �This scope includes all Selected Restricted Availabilities (SRAs), Dry-docking Selected Restricted Availabilities (DSRAs), Continuous Maintenance Availabilities (CMAVs), unscheduled maintenance availabilities/ emergent maintenance, ship assessments, and all OCONUS maintenance. There will also be a Small Business Set Aside for all Preventative/Planned Maintenance Availabilities (PMAVs), Facility Maintenance (FM), and Corrosion Control CONUS. �There may be requirements needed CONUS and OCONUS; outside the Mayport, FL homeport. The issuance of this draft solicitation for industry comment supplements the sources sought request-for-information posted on 19 December 2019 (N00024-20-R-LCSRFI).� Industry is invited to provide NAVSEA with comments using the attached S-1 form.� All comments shall be directed to Erica Fetter, Contracting Officer, at Erica.Fetter@navy.mil, and Brian Romano, Contract Specialist, at Brian.Romano2@navy.mil. Comments will be internally adjudicated.� There will be no public response to comments or questions.� The final RFP will incorporate changes as a result of the comments received. �The final RFP will be made publicly available via the beta SAM website (https://beta.sam.gov). To ensure NAVSEA is able to adequately consider Industry�s feedback to the draft RFP in the upcoming solicitation, it is requested that comments be submitted no later than 1500 EDT on 03 June 2020.� The Government will not reimburse respondents for any comments submitted or information provided as a result of this notice. This is not a Request for Proposal and shall not be interpreted as such.�
