SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION.The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) is seeking additional sources for this coating in accordance with MIL-PRF-32554, Straps, Tie-Down, Adjustable, Non-Metallic, Cable Bundling,for listing on Qualified Products List (QPL) 32554. MIL-PRF-32554 is available through ASSIST https://quicksearch.dla.mil/ and may be obtained by using the ""Document Number"" search box and entering 32554. MIL-PRF-32554 establishes the design and test requirements for adjustable, nonmetallic, cable bundling tie-down straps primarily intended for Electrical Wiring Interconnect System (EWIS) secondary support, including fiber optic and co-axial cable within aircraft applications. The tie-down straps are intended for use in general wire and cable, including fiber optic and co-axial cable, bundle retention. The tie-down straps are designed to be used in high vibration, shock, highly corrosive, and high temperature environments unique to military applications. The tie-down straps may be used anywhere secondary support is required, but the user must verify the application. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION.� With respect to products requiring qualification, awards will be made only for products that are, at the time of award of contract, qualified for inclusion in QPL-32554 whether or not such products have actually been so listed by that date. Contractors should be aware of requirements specified in MIL-PRF-32554. �Manufacturers should arrange to have the products that they propose to offer to the Federal Government tested for qualification in order that they may be eligible to be awarded contracts or orders for the products covered by MIL-PRF-32554. Guidance for manufacturers and their authorized distributors who wish to submit products for NAWCAD qualification is available from the Provisions Governing Qualification (SD-6).� The SD-6 is available through ASSIST, https://quicksearch.dla.mil/� (enter SD-6 in the �Document ID� search box).� Additional information and questions pertaining to qualification of products to MIL-PRF-32554 may be obtained from rose.webster@navy.mil.
