- Pursuant to the authority at FAR 52.215-3 Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes, this announcement constitutes a Sources Sought for information and planning purposes. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or to otherwise pay for the information solicited - all responses will be treated as information only and it is not to be construed in any way as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Virginia is seeking information on fire-fighting sanitization machines for CNRMA. The Government plans to procure these items as a Commercial Item as defined in FAR 2.101. Machines shall have the following minimum specs: - Have dimensions estimated at 74� length, 36� width, and 90� height - Be constructed with Stainless Steel - Must destroy 92% to 95% of pathogens - Have a cabinet ramp entry system while having, as well as being classified as, a scarecrow hanging design dryer system - Utilizes an ozone-based Colony-Forming Unit (CFU) killing dry air treatment - Be a combination dryer, sanitizer Reponses to this Sources Sought request shall reference the Sources Sought number and shall include the following information in this format:� 1) Company name, address, Point of Contact name, phone number, fax number and email address. 2) Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. 3) Size of business - Large Business, Small Business, Small Disadvantage, 8(a), Hubzone, Woman-owned and/or Veteran-owned. 4) Capability statement displaying the contractor�s ability to provide the minimum requirements to include past performance information. If past performance information is provided, please include only relevant past performance on the same/similar work within the last 5 years. Please also include in past performance information the contract numbers, dollar value, and period of performance for each contract referenced in the response to this sources sought. 5) Provide questions, comments, or feedback regarding this requirement, planned contract type or any other associated information. 6) Provide a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) with regard to the unit price for the item specified. Responses shall be emailed to the Point of Contact (POC) listed in this notice by 8 May 2020.�Again, this is not a request for a proposal. Respondents will not be notified of the results and the Government is not required to answer any questions submitted in regards to this sources sought notice. Please note the information within this pre-solicitation synopsis will be updated and/or may change prior to an official synopsis/solicitation, if any.
