- This is a sources sought announcement. This announcement is in support of market research to determine the feasibility of a competitive acquisition and to identify potential sources that can provide the overhaul of the following item: NOMENCLATURE: 701D Engine INPUT NSN: 2840-01-284-4011 INPUT NSN: 2840-01-503-1701 OUTPUT NSN: 2840-01-503-1701 INPUT P/N: 6071T24G01 INPUT P/N: 5130T00G01 OUTPUT P/N: 5130T00G01 ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: Minimum 70 each � Maximum 570 each (Maximum includes a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Quantity of 100 The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336412 and the size standard is 1000 employees. Interested parties who have the capability to perform the above effort should respond to this notice and identify your business size and socio-economic status as applicable. All submissions must include full company name, Point of Contracts (POCs) to include name, position, office, and mobile telephone numbers and email address. DMWR 1-2840-248-1/2/3/4 Revision date09/30/2014, Change #5 is currently available for the overhaul requirement, however this is a Critical Safety Item (CSI) and is limited only to the approved sources by AED. The following sources are currently listed as approved sources for this effort: GE Engine Services (CAGE Code 99207), Vector Aerospace (CAGE Code 3AH19), and Bet Shemesh Engines, Inc. (CAGE Code S0204).Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Request (SAR) in order to become an approved source by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocate�s Shopping List procedures. These procedures are outlined at the following website: https://www.avmc.army.mil/Directorates/SRD/SAR/ This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. This announcement does not constitute a RFP. A synopsis will be issued at a later date for this requirement. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requested.
