Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted to SAM Beta (https://beta.sam.gov/). The RFQ number is N6449820R4018.� This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2020-04 and DFARS Publication Notice 20200408.� It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions.� The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: https://www.acquisition.gov/far/.� The NAICS code is 334210 and the Small Business Standard is 1,250 employees.� The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns.� The proposed contract action is for a brand name only.� The brand name is Siemens/RuggedCom.� The model number of the product(s) are listed in the solicitation.� In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(6), the required justification or documentation is attached.� The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing Siemens/RuggedCom networking switching equipment as outlined in the solicitation.� The ordering period is the date of award through 60 months thereafter.
