************************************************ Update� 05 MAY 2020: The Solicitation for this requirement will be posted on or about 13�MAY 2020. ************************************************* The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to release a request for quote (RFQ) to Curtiss-Wright Electro-Mechanical Corporation, in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), for a sole source, firm fixed price contract for providing a qualified and authorized original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to refurbish and repair a Virginia-class submarine�s secondary propulsion system rotational deployment mechanism (SPS RDM). This posting serves as a Pre-Solicitation notice in association with N32253-20-R-0008. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336611 and the size standard for this NAICS code is 1,250 employees. The Product Service Code is J020 Maintenance and Repair of Ship and Marine Equipment.� A Sources Sought Notice for N32253-20-R-0008 was posted on beta.sam.gov on 16 MAR 2020.� All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) by the award date. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-05, DFARS (last updated 03/30/2020), and NMCARS 18-09. Written offers shall be submitted in accordance with the CLIN structure and proposal instructions that will be outlined in the forthcoming solicitation, N32253-20-R-0008. All offers shall be emailed to the primary and secondary point of contact listed in the upcoming posting. The tentative Period of Performance is 15 JUN 2020 � 22 NOV 2022. The CLIN structure is as follows: 0001 � CLIN 0001 is for refurbishment services for the RDM unit of a Virginia-class submarine. Refurbishment services to include inspection, refurbishment, upgrade, and testing IAW the PWS performance requirements.� The Solicitation for this requirement will be posted on or about 06 MAY 2020.
