Description

This notice announces a March 31, 2020 decision by the Federal Prison Industries, Inc. (FPI) Board of Directors to approve a �national exigency� request for the production of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to: hand sanitizer, masks, gowns, gloves, and any other PPE items.� The �national exigency� would enable FPI to exceed its Miscellaneous Products sales ceiling of $1M for all items included under PPE. Interested parties have a right to raise questions at any time with FPI�s Board of Directors.� Any correspondence should be addressed to:� Deputy Chief, Corporate Communications and Support Branch, Federal Prison Industries, Inc., 320 First Street, NW, Washington, DC 20534.
