Description
REQUEST FOR INFORMATION This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Bureau of Reclamation, Acquisition and Assistance Operations Branch, as market research to gather information on industry processes, procedures, and commercial product availability. In addition, the Government requests industry review and comment on the attached Statement of Work, and to evaluate whether the requirements listed are within the parameters of industry standards. Responses to this RFI will be used by the Government to shape the acquisition strategy in developing a competitive requirement. Reclamation reserves the right, in its sole discretion, without liability, to utilize any or all of the RFI responses in its planning efforts. Reclamation reserves the right to retain and utilize all the materials, information, ideas, and suggestions submitted in response to this RFI. This RFI shall not be construed in any manner to implement any of the actions contemplated herein, nor to serve as the basis for any claim whatsoever for reimbursement of costs for efforts expended in preparing a response to the RFI. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. Responses to this notice are not an offer and cannot be accepted by Reclamation to form a binding contract. Reclamation is seeking an electronic logging solution to increase efficiency and overall effectiveness of the logging requirements at Powerplant Control Centers and powerplants. The current practice of utilizing hardbound paper logbooks and reports will be updated to an electronic logging process. An electronic logging solution will replace the old process and will allow for consistency among all log entries. An electronic logging will also allow for more precise data to be captured and seamless integration of plant operator rounds into the official electronic record. The submission of an RFI response is not required to participate in any potential future solicitation. All interested parties should submit responses via email to Amanda Somerville at asomerville@usbr.gov with appropriate supporting information clearly marked Response to RFI DOIRFBO200042 Electronic Logbook, no later than May 18, 2020 at 4:30 MDT.
