THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTE. THE DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS IS NOT SEEKING PRICING OR OFFERS OF ANY KIND. REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) 36C77620Q0085 THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFQ), BUT AN REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI). There is no commitment by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) to issue a solicitation, make an award, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties in support of this effort. The Department of Veterans Affairs is neither committed nor obligate to pay for information provided, and no basis for claims against VA shall arise as a result of a response to this request for information. 1. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) has a requirement for providing Remote Editing Furniture for its Salt Lake City, UT office. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supervision, training, and other resources required to deliver and provide remote editing furniture necessary to accommodate agency s editing equipment. See ATTACHMENT 1 -Draft SOW Remote Editing Furniture for specific salient characteristics and delivery specifications. 2. The purpose of this notice is to determine interest and capabilities of potential qualified SDVOSB and VOSB concerns relative to the North American Industry Classification code (NAICS) 337214, Office Furniture (except Wood) Manufacturing. The Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 Employees. To make an appropriate acquisition decision for this requirement, the government will use the response to this RFI. The type of solicitation to be issued and the manner of advertisement will also depend on the response to this RFI. To be considered a SDVOSB/VOSB concern offerors shall be registered and verified in www.vip.vetbiz.gov. 3. Limitations on subcontracting and the non-manufacturer rule: The requirement that a non-manufacturer supply the product of a small business concern is referred as the Non-Manufacturer Rule (NMR) [13 C.F.R. � 121.406]. In order to qualify as a small business concern for a small business set-aside, an offeror must either manufacture the item in accordance with the Limitations on Subcontracting (see FAR section 52.219-14, 52.219-27 and 13 C.F.R. � 125.6) or supply the product of a small business made in the United States. 4. All deliveries are Free on Board (FOB) Destination to the requesting facility: Supplies shall be delivered to the destination, at the expense of the Contractor. The Government shall not be liable for any delivery, storage, demurrage, accessorial, or other charges involved before the actual delivery (or constructive placement as defined in carrier tariffs) of the supplies to the destination. 5. If you believe you are capable of meeting this requirement, provide a complete response by COB Wednesday May 6, 2020 . All responses to this RFI shall be received via email to shaunte.chandler@va.gov. Please include Remote Editing Furniture in the subject line of all correspondence. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. A complete response satisfies the information requested below. The Government requests responders provide the following information: 1. Company information including name, address, point of contact, and DUNS Number 2. The make and model information for each item, 3. If an equivalent item will be proposed, cut sheets containing specifications, 4. Authorized dealer verification (see below), 5. The contract number of any applicable GSA schedule if one exists from which these items can be procured, and 6.
