- SOURCE SOUGHT THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATION & PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY; IT IS NEITHER A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT NOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTES AND DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO AWARD A CONTRACT. Perform service and support for the GE Marquette Universal System for Electrocardiography (MUSE) Cardiology Information System. NAICS code 811219 PSC J065 New Base June 1, 2020 to May 31, 2021 See the attached Letter from GE MUSE describing the proprietary technologies relating to MUSE. SCOPE OF WORK: The Contractor shall provide all labor, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform service and support for the GE Marquette Universal System for Electrocardiography (MUSE) Cardiology Information System. The trained GE staff shall respond to issues that may arise during the installation, maintenance and use of the MUSE System. Support is limited to the MUSE software system and does not include hardware or OS support for the servers or workstations. Service includes support for software sold by GE Healthcare: MUSE database server, MUSE application software, HL7 Interface Server, and MUSE communication Server. The contractor shall restore the software back to fully operational status when a request for service is initiated by VISN 5 Biomedical Engineering. The GE technical support engineers shall support the MUSE system via remote secured network connections. If the issue cannot be fixed remotely, GE will come onsite to correct the issue. The remote connection will be via GE s established site to site memorandum of understanding/ interconnection security agreement with the Department of Veterans Affairs. GE shall respond to telephone inquires within 1 hours of request and will commence efforts to correct the critical errors within four (4) hours of notification or detection of the error. GE shall provide onsite support within 24 hours if necessary. Software updates and upgrades are included in this service contract and will be installed during normal business hours (Monday Friday, 8am to 5pm). The contractor shall support the transition between major software versions, specifically Muse 9 to Muse NX during the service contract period. The service contract shall be from June 1, 2020 May 31, 2021. The Contractor shall also offer a service contract with one (1) base year plus four (3) option years. 1.
