- Intent to Sole Source Omnicell IVX Workflow equipment maintenance and Services The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to issue sole-source firm-fixed priced base + 4-year option contract to Omnicell 590 E. Middlefield Road Mountain View, CA 94043 A sole source procurement will be issued to Omnicell because they are the only vendor capable of fully performing the service. Due to the specialized nature of the work it must be conducted by personnel with a high level of training and qualifications.� This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 and 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), soliciting from a single source. � The NAICS code is 334614 and has a size standard of 1,250 employees for this procurement. SCOPE OF WORK: The James H. Quillen VA Medical Center (VAMC) has a significant need for a full-service maintenance and service contract for IVX equipment. a. Provide service maintenance for IVX equipment- Omnicell IVX Workflow incorporates integrated barcode scanning, gravimetric or volumetric verification, advanced image recognition, photo documentation, and label printing. It is powered by Omnicell IVX Cloud web-based software designed to manage all aspects of IV sterile compounding workflow. IVX Workflow is designed to drive technician efficiency and proper aseptic technique through an all-in-one design and limited-touch workflows. b. Update software and maintain clouds date for IVX equipment- IVX Cloud is an on-premise installation of pharmacy cloud-based software designed to scale across your hospital or health system. The simple web-based interface provides access to Omnicell s cloud-based formulary, supports the design and customization of workflows and formulations, drives order routing and workflow management, and enables access to robust compounding dashboards and analytics. As part of our IV compounding workflow software, IVX Cloud integrates with Simplifi 797�, providing hospital pharmacies with a comprehensive solution to address safety, quality, and compliance across compounding operations. EQUIPMENT: Equipment to be serviced /maintained includes but not limited to: Equipment is located at the Mt. Home VAMC. IVX Workflow SYSTEM IVS-HDW-001 This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotations no later than 10am CST, May 04, 2020 to: Christina.Lawrence2@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
