- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 22, Long Beach, CA intends to issue a contract to Provation Medical. The contract will provide maintenance and support for the ProVation software, including Oracle support, MD GI, MD Pulmonary, ADT Interface, and ORU Interface. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (2) (b) (i), Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The VA anticipates issuing a base plus four (4) option year contract with the base year beginning on or near September 25, 2020. The period of performance for the base year will be from September 25, 2020 through September 24, 2021. The total estimated value is estimated at $280,293.10 This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. However, in accordance with FAR 5.207 (c) (16) (ii), all responsible sources that feel they can fulfill requirements may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by VA. Responses to this notice shall contain sufficient information to establish the interested parties bona-fide capabilities for fulfilling the requirement, and include: Dun & Bradstreet Number, and the Taxpayer Identification Number, along with documentation that the vendor is an authorized distributor/reseller. All respondents must have an active registration in the System for Award Management www.sam.gov. A determination by VA not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the VA. In addition, the information received because of this notice of intent will be retained as market research only.
