Description
Sources Sought The National Park Service requests information from vendors registered under NAICS code 238320, Painting and Wall Covering Contractors, with a Small Business Size Standard $16.5M for an upcoming construction requirement at Hot Springs National Park, Hot Springs Arkansas. Project Description: 1) Ozark Bathhouse -Paint the exterior of the historic Ozark Bathhouse in the historic district on Bathhouse Row. The building exterior is masonry stucco work with wood frame windows and doors, and wood frame porch with exposed rafters and integral skylight. This work includes the sidewall of the entrance ramp and stairs. 2) Paint the exterior of the historic Administration Building and two comfort stations in the historic district on Bathhouse Row. Buildings are masonry stucco construction. Work consists of surface preparation, initial pressure washing and cleaning exterior surfaces, patching cracks in masonry, stucco, wood and masonry joints. Minor repairs on wood elements including soffit, fascia, wood frame windows, and exposed wood rafter tails. Spot priming, patching and repairs, and application of finish coats of paint. Painting requires the use of scaffold in places and the use of an aerial lift to reach certain areas of the building. 3) Paint the exterior of the historic Maurice Bathhouse in the historic district on Bathhouse Row. The building exterior is masonry stucco construction, a distinctive hand thrown stucco finish on the front elevation, with wood frame windows and doors, and aluminum frame decorative storefront style window units on the front porch. Work consists of surface preparation, initial pressure washing and cleaning exterior surfaces, patching cracks in masonry, stucco, and at wood and masonry joints. Minor repairs on wood elements including wood frame windows, porch elements, etc. Spot priming, patching and repairs, and application of finish coats of paint. Painting requires the use of scaffold in most places, and the use of an aerial lift to reach certain areas. The Maurice Bathhouse (Bldg. 106) is a three story building, with basement, of almost 23,000 square feet constructed in 1911. Exterior paintable surface area exceeds 15,700 square feet. There are 204 wood framed windows primarily casement type 4) Paint the exterior of the historic Fordyce Bathhouse in the historic district on Bathhouse Row. The building exterior is a complex combination of concrete walls and cement block and tile. On the East Side there are six hundred square feet of stucco and several hundred square feet of soffit and fascia. Work consists of surface preparation, initial pressure washing and cleaning exterior surfaces, patching cracks in masonry, stucco, and at wood and masonry joints. Exterior brick, approximately 12,000 square feet, will be tuck-pointed, which includes 200 square feet of waterproofing. A six-inch galvanized downspout will be extended four inches to divert the water that is pooling and causing the issue. Painting and tuck-pointing require the use of scaffold in places and the use of an aerial lift to reach certain areas to access the three story building constructed in 1915. There are over 110 wood framed windows of various sizes and type, both casement and sash.
