Description
NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT Contracting Office: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District (NWP) will award a contract through the Portland District, 333 SW First Ave., Portland, OR� 97204.� This contract will be used only by the Portland District. Contract Information: Contract will be for the Portland District use only.� Award is anticipated to be a multiple year contract with a base and 4 optional years.� Notice: In accordance with FAR 6.302-1 -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. USACE NWP intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Aquatic Informatics Inc., 1111 Georgia St SW Suite 2400 Vancouver, BC V6E 4M3. The purpose of this acquisition is for Software as a Service (SaaS) agreement for the Aquarius Samples products. This SaaS agreement is required for the Aquatic Informatics Aquarius Samples products which are used by Water Quality staff to manage and analyze water quality data in support of the Water Management mission. The system was originally purchased from Aquatic Informatics with Aquatic Informatics retaining full proprietary rights over the system Aquarius SaaS.� This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations, however, any challenges to this sole source must be received in writing by the Government for the purpose of determining whether or not to compete the requirement. Challenges must include information sufficient to enable the Government to make a determination that an equivalent equipment and service exists which would meet the Government's needs as stated herein. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Classification: �The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541511 - Custom Computer Programming Services with the associated size standard of $30M. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice no later than 10:00 a.m. PST, May 15, 2020, by email to Kevin Thomsen. �All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.
