Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This competition is open to all businesses (full and open competition). The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing with a size standard of 1,000 employees. This solicitation incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect in Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-05 dated 30 March 2020 and Defense Publication Notice 20200114 dated 14 January 2020. The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) has a requirement for a Shimazdu UV-1900 UV-VIS Spectrophotometer or Equal. Please see attached RFQ for full detail.�
