- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a sole source, Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N68335-16-G-0008 with Teledyne Controls, LLC, CAGE Code 98571, of El Segundo, California for the procurement of up to twenty-one Digital Flight Data Acquisition Unit (DFDAU) part number 2233000-916 for the C-40A Aircraft in support of the Medium Lift C-40A Tactical Airlift Program Office (PMA-207). Initial delivery will occur within three months, but options may take up to eighteen months. This synopsis is published for information purposes only.� (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS).� This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.� The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for the action described herein is 334511.� GENERAL INFORMATION: Teledyne is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the DFDAU) part number 2233000-916 and is the only known qualified, responsible source that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience, and technical data required to fulfill the requirements specified.� Small businesses interested in subcontracting possibilities with Teledyne please contact Mr. Thomas Innocenti, Director, at (310) 765-3682.�� The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. However, any capability statements received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The closing date for this synopsis is 14 May 2020 at 4:30 P.M. Eastern Standard Time and contract award is anticipated for July 2020.
