- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst has a requirement for Training Curriculum and Scenario Building associated with Mission Generation Stations (MGSs) in support of the Taiwan Navy/Air Force (TN/TAF). The TN/TAF require previously delivered Training Curriculum associated with the MGSs to be presented again to a group that will have the assigned responsibility for mission creation. This requirement includes training instruction at the Taiwan P-3C Training facility, as well as hands-on training and scenario building through MGS, based on customer input. This requirement is in support of PMA-290FC and the Taiwan P-3C Program. The Government intends to issue a contract action on a sole source basis to CAE USA INC. dba Training Systems Division (CAE) (Cage: 2AA58) of Tampa, FL for the required MGS Training. CAE is the prime contractor for the original MGSs Training and Scenario building effort specifically unique to TAF/TN mission creation requirements. CAE developed and integrated the training scenarios to meet Taiwan specific flight training mission requirements. CAE is the only source with the requisite design knowledge, technical data, installation protocols, performance and operational characteristics knowledge of the MGSs capable to meet the Taiwan P-3C requirements, and is therefore uniquely qualified to perform and meet all requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to full and open competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a full and open competitive procurement.
