- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following services: The Boise VA Medical Center (BVAMC) requires Prospective contractors to provide the following NEOPROBE CONSOLE MODEL 2400 Brand Name or Equal per FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal to Devicor Medical Products, Inc.. Item # Description/Part Number* Qty 1 NPCU4 NEOPROBE CONSOLE MODEL 2400 1 2 NPA75 AC Power Cord 1 3 NEOCART1 Neoprobe GDS Dock and Portable Storage system 1 3 NPB14S 14mm Straight Probe (use with Neoprobe� Bluetooth� System) 1 4 NPE14 14mm External Collimator 1 Salient Characteristics 1)Must be able to detect and quantify gamma radiation as they are emitted from body tissues in which radiopharmaceuticals were administered 2) Must have Bluetooth wireless technology 3) Just in case, must have probe that also work with a cable 4) Console must have both visual and audio gamma ray detection indicators 5) Console must have an LED screen 6) Display codes should be deciphered in an easy to read user manual 7) Must have a hand-held probe that picks up the gamma radiation and signifies it by number of counts detected 8) Must be easy to use as in the console should readily show that a probe is detected or not and it should be easy for the surgeon to interpret the counts indicated on console 9) Wireless probe requires a battery (CR123 and Biomed can provide) and so the console should indicate if the battery is low 10) Should be able to adjust the volume of the audio detection indicator 11) Must have a target count function and background count function to help the surgeons find the structure they are looking for 12) Console should have at least 4 preset ranges in the autorange function 13) Must have a binary pitch mode 14) Must be able to easily troubleshoot error messages 15) Acquiring target count should be explained fully in user manual 16) Must be able to detect all the most commonly administered isotopes 17) Should have a range of applications of anatomic structures that can be detected from tumors to perfusion of anastomoses to localization of bone lesions 2 18) Must come with probes and power cord and accessory case to protect probe from damage as well as a storage cart that is made just for the equipment in order to protect it from damage 19) Must operate on 115/120VAC Potential Businesses having the capabilities necessary to provide the above stated equipment services are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via e-mail to Gregory.watson2@va.gov no later than 05/04/2020. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: company name, address, and business size, point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address, OEM Certifications for Technicians to provide the services must be included in the response. OEM documentation confirming access to all required OEM parts must be included in the response. Please note whether system is presently offered on a current Government contract.
