Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice for the purposes of conducting market research and obtaining industry information ONLY. Proposals are NOT being requested nor accepted at this time. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information from businesses that would be interested and capable of the types of services/construction noted below. The United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) will use information obtained through this synopsis as well as other market research to develop an acquisition strategy. The USFWS anticipates soliciting and awarding (1) one Firm-Fixed Priced contract to provide construction services on a performance based construction requirement for a contractor to provide up to two (2) new residential housing units. at Makah National Fish Hatchery. The ranch style homes shall be manufacturers� standard floor plans. Work shall include all required site development and associated earthwork, connection of all utilities, and the placement and construction of a modular residence. A draft Statement of Work and drawings are attached as a separate document. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code will be 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The small business size standard is $39.5 Million. All business categories are invited to respond. Interested firms are requested to respond to this notice by furnishing the following in formation by 05/11/2020. (1) Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, and email address. (2) DUNS Number. (3) Business type (i.e. Large Business, Small Business, (SB), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone), 8(a) Program or other. (4) Provide up to three (3) examples of similar/relevant projects. Your firm shall identify if work was completed as the prime contractor, subcontractor, or joint venture. If your firm was a subcontractor, describe the services your firm provided. If your firm was the prime contractor, provide a project title, total contract amount, and location. All responses to this notice should be submitted to Ryan Boisvert at ryan_boisvert@fws.gov by no later than close of business 05/11/2020.
