Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration April 27, 2020 SPECIAL NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Mid-Level Leader Management AIDET� Training 36C250-20-Q-0576 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) requires training, coaching, assessment, and skill validation to ensure that mid-level staff change behaviors to meet Evidence Based LeadershipSM methodology, utilizing the communication technique AIDET� at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center. Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10 intends to issue a sole source solicitation to Huron Consulting Services LLC., 550 W. Van Buren St., Chicago, IL 60607 requesting training, coaching, assessment, and skill validation. Huron Consulting Services has the sole authority to administer the required training utilizing AIDET�. As such, this procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541611 and the Small Business Administration Size Standard is $16.5M. This notice of intent to is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirements may submit a quotation, which may be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that the responding company can meet the requirements of the Government. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses to this notice are due on or before Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern time to Katherine Gibney, Contracting Officer, via email at katherine.gibney@va.gov.
