Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground � Natick Contracting Division on behalf of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities and Development Command (CCDC), Combat Feeding Directorate (CFD) intends to procure on a sole source basis under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements - A complete replacement of the Emissions regenerative system of a 15K Hyster fork truck to bring the fork truck back to operational use, to Nitco, LLC., 102 Motor 6 Jonspin Rd, Wilmington, MA 01887-4408. The Combat Feeding Directorate had purchased, in 2013, a 15k Hyster fork truck. This truck is used for moving CFD containers and larger equipment. Nitco already has this fork truck and it is dismantled as they were diagnosing the computer lockout codes. Awarding to another vender would incur additional cost for them to reassemble and ship it elsewhere for repair. Nitco is also a certified Hyster repair facility, so not to void any warranties. A Firm Fixed Price Contract will be issued. This is not a request for quotes.� No solicitation package is available.� Any responses to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310.� Inquiries and responses may be sent to Maryanne Peck, Contract Specialist, via email at maryanne.e.peck.civ@mail.mil no later than 12 May 2020 @ 12:00PM EST.
