Description
The 375th Contracting Squadron, Scott Air Force Base, IL is seeking to award for an external restroom unit measuring 40 feet long in accordance with the below specification and Attachment 1 Diagrams.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332311, Prefabricated Metal Building and Component Manufacturing; Federal Supply Code (FSC) is 5410, Prefabricated and Portable Buildings, and the business size is 750 Employees. Delivery of unit must be on or before 30 May 2020. This is a commercial purchase using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and Part 13 procedures. The following information, as required per FAR 12.603(c)(2) applies: (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.� This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation number FA440720Q0011 issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-05, effective 03-30-2020, and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement DPN 20200408 (Effective 08 April 2020) Edition. (iv) This acquisition is being solicited as a 100% Small Business Set Aside via beta.SAM.gov under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 332311, Prefabricated Metal Building and Component Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 750 Employees. The Federal Supply Code (FSC) is 5410, Prefabricated and Portable Buildings. (v) Contract Line Item Number(s) CLINS: Item # Description Quantity Unit Unit Price Total Price 0001 External Restroom unit, 40 feet long by 8 feet wide and delivery on or before 30 May 2020. See below for description of product and delivery. ��� 1 LOT GRAND TOTAL $ (vi) Description of requirements: The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials and equipment to deliver and put into place one (1) 40� (forty foot) long by 8� (eight feet) wide, dual-gender, climate-controlled restroom container at the requested location on the Northwest side of Building 3189 at Scott AFB, IL as shown in Attachment 1 Diagrams. The contractor shall deliver the restroom container via a flat-bed truck, and transfer the container from the truck to the destination concrete-pad. The Contractor will be responsible for putting the unit into place without the use of a crane. The contractor shall not be responsible for connecting the restroom container to the adjacent water, drainage, and electrical connections. Site layout is displayed in Attachment 1 Diagrams. Restroom container shall: ����������� Be dual gender with both urinals and stalls for males, sinks, and GFI electrical outlets as ������� exampled in Attachment 1 Diagrams. ����������� Have internal HVAC (heating, ventilation, and cooling) ����������� Be able to mate to the adjacent power, water, and drainage connections (customer will ����������� handle PVC and electrical hook ups) ����������� Have an exterior paint color approx. matching the tan-siding of B3189 ����������� Have low-sheen ethylene propylene diene terpolymer (EDPM) roof, colored white. ����������� Feature interior with RFP walls and ceiling ����������� Feature exit signage and emergency lighting and outdoor security lighting ����������� Be installed with entry-doors facing Tyler St ����������� Be installed without interference to other contractors renovating B3189 � schedule will � be pre-coordinated with the 375th CES to de-conflict work in the area � The contractor shall abide by Scott AFB, local, county, state and federal laws under this contract. The Contractor shall use innovative industry/commercial standards/procedures and equipment to minimize the expenditure or time and funds while ensuring the highest of quality work. � See Attachment 1: Diagrams for more details.
