- Solicitation Number: HQ0856-20-R-0001 The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) has released the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) Request for Proposal (RFP) April 24, 2020. ��MDA understands the concerns with releasing an RFP during the COVID-19 crisis and has been in communication with NGI prime offerors to assess their availability to receive and evaluate the RFP.� The NGI solicitation allows contractors 90 days to provide proposals to the Government beginning 1 May 2020 and calls for proposal receipt of 31 July 2020. As Departmental guidance changes, adjustments for COVID-19 may occur based on Real World Events. The NGI program requires access to classified information up to TOP SECRET, and safeguarding at SECRET. Interested Prime Offerors must have an approved Facility Clearance in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (DoD 5220.22-M) and be able to appropriately courier / transport electronic media classified up to TOP SECRET. �The Contract Security Classification Specification, DD Form 254, is attached to this announcement. Interested and qualified Prime Offerors ONLY, should contact the Procuring Contracting Officers (PCOs) listed below. Vendors interested in potential subcontracting opportunities should contact potential Prime Offerors directly, listed in the previous announcement.� Interested Prime Offerors may be required to submit a capabilities document prior to receiving approval to access the RFP. Subject line shall state �GM HQ0856-20-R-0001 RFP.�
