Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE to Mark Space INC. RFQ# N66001-20-Q-6326 The proposed contract action is for Communications Co0ntroller Dual Input Redundant Power Module(DRPM) And Two 504A-AC Modules, and Post Warranties, which the Naval Warfare Information Center Pacific(NIWC PAC SD) San Diego intends to solicit this requirement on a sole source basis to MARK SPACE INC. Address: 22611 Markey Court, #110 Sterling, Virginia 20166-6900 Phone:703-404-8550 under the authority of Far 13.106-1(b)(1). Justification: Under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)1;Sole source justification is based on Mark Space is the Only company that can provide the MarkSpace 504A, 532A, and front panels is an approved NSA device that is part of the approved Program of Record (POR) baseline for Naval Messaging. The MarkSpace is the Documented and nomenclature subcomponent of the AN/UYC- 19 (v)2 and AN/UYC-16 (v) hardware suite. This is a solicitation for Supplies, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all proposals received within three (3) days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of the determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This announcement constitutes only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
