This is a Sources Sought notice and not a request for quotes. This request is solely for the purpose of conducting market research to enhance VHA s understanding of your company s offered services and capabilities. The Government will not pay any costs for responses submitted in response to this Source Sought Notice. This Sources Sought notice provides an opportunity for respondents to submit their capability and availability to provide the service requirement described below. Vendors are being invited to submit information relative to their potential to fulfill this requirement, in the form of a capability response that addresses the specific requirement identified in this Sources Sought. The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) is seeking to obtain brand name or equal 254 EarlySense Sensors and Temple and Waco Texas. Refer to the General Requirements section below for the requested product description. This Sources Sought is to facilitate the Contracting Officer s review of the market base, for acquisition planning, size determination, and procurement strategy. General Requirements: Brand name or equal 254 EarlySense Sensors are needed for the Temple and Waco Texas in accordance with the following requirements: BRAND NAME OR EQUAL: Patient Monitoring System Integration Platform Sensors by EarlySense Modular Bedside Unit The Early Sense patient monitoring system is designed to easily integrate with a third-party system or device. Dimensions: 420 x 210 x 13 mm, 16.5 x 8.3 x 0.5 inches Insight Unit: Converts raw data to actionable vital signs information Dimensions: 145 x 62 x 65 mm, 5.7 x 2.4 x 2.6 inches Weight: 235 gr, 0.52 lbs Main Power Supply: 100-240V AC, 50-60 Hz 0.9A max LAN connection: RJ-45, 10/100 Mbps Wireless Connection: IEEE 802.11 b/g/n Contact Free Sensor: H1gh[y sensitive, completely contact-free: Placed under the mattress Compatible with hospital/post-acute nurs1ng products/nursing home bed The contact-free sensor, placed under the patients mattress, captures a patient s vital signs and movement, with a non-audible alarm.
