- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to procure on a limited-competitive basis twenty (20) Quick Engine Change/Engine Buildup Dollies, P/N 200-000-101, NSN 1740-00-106-8512 for the C-130 Program.� These dollies will require a 160 days delivery. The Dolly is a 4-wheeled, towed vehicle incorporating hand-lever operated cable controlled brakes, leveling jacks ad pneumatic tires.� Under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, KWD Aircraft Support Equipment and Knight Aerospace Products are considered the only responsible sources to perform this effort.� The Government does not possess the technical data rights and drawings for this support equipment. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
