- The National Park Service, Region 2, South Atlantic Gulf, intends to award a Firm Fixed price contract for a Steam Corridor Assessment for Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area located in Atlanta, GA 30350. This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source. The determination to select Trutta Environmental Solutions, LLC for the assessment services is based on existing high definition stream survey data that was already accomplished by the contractor. The Steam Corridor Assessment will document the location, extend, condition, correctability and relative cost of all issues within the river system for the prioritization of management actions by assessing the stream corridor including: riparian zone, streambanks, streambed, and any infrastructure within the corridor. Additionally, a high definition stream survey will be completed for selected tributaries within the park. Additionally, it is in the best interest of the Government to stay with the original contractor for the follow-on project to decrease potential costs on the overall project by saving on unnecessary manpower for re-accomplishing research that was already accomplished for the HDSS. Since the original contractor owns the proprietary rights of specific aspects of the data on the HDSS, it is the only source that can provide the services required for this project. NAICS Code: 541620, Environmental Consulting Services, Standard business size is $16.5M. The National Park Service is presently using SAM/FBO to issue synopsis for Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source Justifications and Sources Sought. The synopsis may be viewed online at: https://beta.sam.gov. FBO will be the only means of obtaining the amendments and will be able to receive electronic notification of solicitations and awards. CAUTION: This synposis will be issued electronically as will any amendments. The Government is under no obligation to maintain a bidder's list. It is incumbent for any interested parties to obtain any amendments which may be issued. A solicitation will not be released for this requirement if no vendors are interested. If NPS does not receive interest from the industry, this will be a notice of intent to award on a sole source basis to Trutta Environmental Solutions, LLC.
