Description
NAWCTSD has finalized the acquisition strategy for this effort and consequently the effort will be set-aside for small business under the TSC IV IDIQ MAC. Due to COVID-19 there has been a slight delay with the program and the Government will not be conducting an Industry Day or a Site Visit.�� However, the Government intends to following within the next 60 days: In 3-4 weeks to host a virtual walkthrough of the acquisition, available Government Furnished Information (GFI), and draft requirements documents.� The Government does not anticipate answering questions virtual walkthrough review, however, there will be a follow-up question and answer log posted shortly after the virtual review. �Specifics on the virtual walkthrough are forthcoming.� TSC IV small business contract holders who are interested in attending should Donna Raimondi (CS), copying the efforts PCO. In 2-4 weeks to post draft requirements documents.� The Government will also make available any GFI at that time.� Interested TSC IV small business contract holders should fill out and return the attached GFI Non-disclosure Agreement (NDA). To post the final solicitation to beta.sam by the end of 3rd QTR FY20.� The solicitation will utilize FAR 16.505 procedures and contain Technical and Price. �The solicitations Section L&M technical requirements are expected to be minimal. All three training devices will require use of the VirtualShip (VShip) software. ViShip licenses and software support are offered by General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT). Specifics regarding the above information will be posted to beta.sam as soon as possible.
