- Marion VA Medical Center The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15 is conducting market research to help determine the availability and technical capabilities of qualified vendors who can provide Large Capacity Ultrasonic Cleaning System for the Marion VA Medical Center. POTENTIAL SOURCES SHALL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IN THE RESPONSE: 1) Company name, address, phone number, primary contact(s), e-mail address, NAICS code(s), business size (i.e. small/large), and DUNS Number. 2) Statement of Capability that demonstrates ability of providing the item in accordance with the attached Statement of Requirement (SOR) and past performance in providing this type of service. Include examples of prior completed Government contracts, references, and other related information. This notice is to assist the NCO 15 in determining SOURCES ONLY. This announcement is not a request for proposals or quotations. The Government is not committed to award a contract pursuant to this announcement. The Government will not pay for any costs incurred in the preparation or submission of information in response to this announcement. DRAFT STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENTS SPS, Marion, Illinois VAMC is requesting the procurement of a Large Capacity ultrasonic cleaning system. The sonic will provide SPS with the ability to processes more instruments for the surgery department. SPS currently has one dedicated Ultrasonic cleaning system for EYE instruments that can only process one level of the instrument tray at a time, with the current case load this slows down the cleaning process. With the new Ultrasonic cleaning system SPS will be able to double the amount of instruments processed in the same amount of time. Unit should have Ultrasonic cleaning cycle time is fully adjustable in 1-minute increments. Basin automatically fills with water, water temperature display. Elevator automatically lowers trays into cleaning basin. Cycles automatically progresses through filling, detergent dispensing, degassing, ultrasonic cleaning, rinsing, instrument air purge and draining. Elevator lifts trays out of cleaning solution at end of cycle. Holds up to 3 instrument trays. Requirements: Model Overall dimensions (operating): 24"" wide x 49-11/16"" deep x 46-3/16"" high Overall dimensions (loading): 24"" wide x 49-11/16"" deep x 61-7/8"" high Working height: 61-7/8"" Clearance height: 75"" from floor Maximum tray size: 10-1/2"" wide x 32-1/2"" deep x 3-3/4"" high (x3 trays) LCD touchscreen display Features UVC light disinfection of circulating irrigation water. A liquid level sensor is provided to ensure proper liquid level depth for ultrasonic cleaning. Sonic Cleaning Chamber Overall size: 11-9/16"" wide x 37"" deep x 19-3/8"" high Liquid volume: 30 gallons Maximum load: 40 lbs. Unit measures: 50 L x 24 W x 63 H. Operation requires 208V, 60Hz, 1-Phase, 20A Temperature 41�F to 104�F (5�C to 40�C)
