- Pre-Solicitation Notice: The purpose of this synopsis is to provide notification of the Government�s expected solicitation release set for the date of on or around Thursday, 23 Apr 2020. The Solicitation Number will be W15QKN-20-Q-5167. Procurement Description: The Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ) is procuring a new requirement for Upgrade Security Systems (CAC) on behalf of the 99th Readiness Division (RD) in Fort Totten, NY.� The Government intends to issue a solicitation under the Total Small Business Set-Aside preference for this requirement.� The Contractor shall have 90 Calendar days from the Notice to Proceed Date to complete ALL TASKS associated with the SPECIFICATION of Work.� This requirement will be funded utilizing Operation and Maintenance - Army Reserve (OMAR) funds. The solicitation will result in a new Firm-Fixed-Priced (FFP) contract awarded to the lowest priced responsible, responsive offeror, whose approach meets the requirements of the solicitation. �� Description of Services: The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and transportation to accomplish the following work, which consists of but is not limited to: replacing the current gate and building security entrance systems for Fort Totten. The existing system is a key pad entry that is difficult to control who has access to the facility. Contractor shall replace the existing system with a dual access CAC card reader and entry code unit. ***Please note that this notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP). �All responsible sources may submit a capabilities statement, proposal, or quotation, which will be considered by the Government following the release of an official solicitation. *** All responses to this pre-solicitation notice shall be in writing; NO TELEPHONE INQUIRES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
