- NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) has a requirement for the design, fabrication, and installation of museum-quality exhibits in the NASA Goddard Visitor Center (VC). The exhibits shall include an interactive science exhibit for the main exhibit floor (approximately 757 square feet), with the potential for additional outdoor exhibits. The master floor plan for the proposed project is attached.� The exhibit shall provide vital context for tours, programming and special events. The VC is a significant public face for NASA in the Maryland-DC region. It hosts public events for students, families, decision makers, and the media and is the starting point for facility tours, including VIP tours (visitors from Embassies, industry, academia, and government) and student field trips. See attached RFP, Statement of Work, and building layout. This solicitation is being issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The solicitation number is 80GSFC20001. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.��� All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.� The Center Ombudsman for this acquisition can be found at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/pub/pub_library/Omb.html. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet.� These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.� Prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer.� It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any).� Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any).� All contractual and technical questions must be submitted in writing via e-mail to Odessia.H.Becks@nasa.gov no later than COB on March 20, 2020. Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice. Any interested organizations should submit their capabilities, qualifications, and proposal to perform the effort in writing by mail per instructions from clause GSFC 52.215-205 on page 52 of the RFP.� Submissions made by any other means will not be considered. The due date for receipt of offers is�April 30, 2020. �
