SDVOSBC Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside (FAR 19.14)
 
Description
The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO 7) VISN 7, is issuing a solicitation for Medical Waste Removal Services provided for the WJB Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia, SC and its Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) locations. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this acquisition is 562112 Hazardous Waste Collection. The solicitation will be set-aside for Small Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) of Veteran Owned Business (VOSB). The solicitation will not be mailed out. All interested sources must go to the�Contract Opportunities�website at: https://beta.sam.gov and obtain an electronic copy of the solicitation. Offerors are responsible to ensure their proposal package is received by the exact time and date at the specified location for receipt of proposals. In addition, offerors are responsible for continuing to monitor the websites for any/all future Amendments issued, if any. Offerors shall sign copies of any amendment issued and submit with their package. All offerors need to be registered in the System for Awardee Management (SAM.gov and �Vendor Information Pages (https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/) prior to submission of proposal.�Offerors who propose using a subcontractor for a portion of the work must ensure and confirm the company will adhere to all applicable subcontracting clauses; specifically, at least 50 percent of the cost of contract performance incurred for personnel shall be expended for employees of the concern (prime contractor). Place of Performance: WJB Dorn VA Medical Center; Columbia, SC and its CBOC locations in Anderson, Florence, Greenville, Orangeburg, Spartanburg, and Sumter. Period of Performance: May 1, 2020 April 30, 2021 and four (4) options exercised at the discretion of the Government.
