Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), NAS Patuxent River, MD, intends to award Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation � Aerospace Systems (NGAS), San Diego, CA, a sole-source, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) type Delivery Order under the Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) Contract N00019-15-G-0026, Solicitation N00019-20-RFPREQ-PMA-262-0207.� NGAS will provide the necessary support regarding the International Maritime Satellite (INMARSAT) Antenna Diminishing Manufacturing Supply (DMS) issue to the MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft System.� This Delivery Order is planned to have a 12-month period of performance with an anticipated award date of 30 September 2020.� Northrop Grumman is the sole designer, developer, and integrator of the Triton UAS.� Accordingly, it is the only contractor with the requisite knowledge and experience to provide Triton specific hardware required for these efforts within the program�s cost and schedule constraints. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, �Only one Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements� for the proposed actions.� THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.
