- A Presidential declaration of an emergency has been issued for the United States of America. As a result of the declaration, the Robert T. Staf ford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (Public Law 93-288) companies must have the ability to do w ork primarily in Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia w ith the ability to do w ork in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaw are, Connecticut, Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. This contract is to�retrofit the selected space into an Alternate Care Facility (ACF) to serve non-acute COVID patients. This effort is to provide an Alternate Care Facility meeting basic healthcare functions with an emphasis on patient care, infection control, fire protection, and life safety.
