Description
PROJECT TITLE: Rehab Iron River Hatchery Building Rearing Room PROJECT LOCATION: Iron River National Fish Hatchery 10325 Fairview Road, Iron River, Wisconsin 54847 Bayfield County PROJECT CONSISTS OF: Converting an existing room in a Hatchery Building to a Brook Trout rearing room facility. The work includes installation of aquaculture systems, UV treatment systems, booster pumps, electrical controls for a fully function system. The Contractor shall also install Government furnished equipment including but not limited to fiberglass aquaculture tanks, incubation stacks, and a water heater along with providing commissioning and testing of the complete system. ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: The estimated magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated. SOCIOECONOMIC PROGRAMS: This procurement is set-aside exclusively for Small Business concerns. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. Size Standard: $39.50m Request for Proposal Package (RFP), will be available at no cost via electronic commerce at https://beta.SAM.gov and https://www.fedconnect.net on or about May 8, 2020 with proposals due on or about June 8, 2020. No telephone requests for the solicitation will be accepted. This solicitation will NOT be available in hard copy. The electronic solicitation package will consist of, at a minimum, the following documents: separate files including the standard form used for the submission of a proposal, specifications, the prevailing wage determination, past performance information requirements, representations and instructions, and evaluation criteria. Please ensure that you have completely downloaded and thoroughly reviewed the entire solicitation before submitting your proposal. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. It is the Contractor's responsibility to ensure that they receive all appropriate documents to submit a competitive proposal.
