Description
The intent of this Synopsis, in accordance with FAR 5.201, is to announce the Government�s intent to issue a three (3) year Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Contract with a minimum guaranteed value of $301,879.10 and a maximum contract value of $5,729,450. The proposed action is for the acquisition of new spare parts for Traveling Wave Tube, NSN 5960-01-349-5380. NSN 5960-01-323-6432 and NSN 5960-01-089-3554 have been found to be interchangeable with the unit. The acquisition will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP) with a 3 year base period and no option period. The 3 year best estimated quantity (BEQ) is 40 for year 1, 40 for year 2, and 36 for year 3. Based on market research, this NSN is not commercial, therefore, FAR part 15 will apply to this acquisition. This acquisition will not be set aside for small business. The subsequent Solicitation SPRBL1-20-R-0022 will require Inspection/Acceptance Origin and FOB Destination to New Cumberland (W25G1U). The Technical Data Package (TDP) for this NSN is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All technical documents for Traveling Wave Tube including, but not limited to, test plans, test reports, drawings and specifications contain information that is subject to the controls defined in the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR). This information shall not be provided to non-U.S. persons or transferred by any means to any location outside of the United States. In order to receive the TDP, the awardee must have an active status in the Defense Logistics Agency Joint Certification Program (JCP). Once your company is verified to have active status in JCP, we will upload the TDP into DoD Safe Access File Exchange (SAFE). You will then receive an e-mail from the DoD SAFE site, https://safe.apps.mil, with a link to the package ID and a password. The TDPs may contain drawings in C4 format. This synopsis does not constitute a Solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government.
