17 Mar 2020 - Posted Abstract of Offers ___________________________________________________________ 12 Mar 2020 - Amendment No. 0001 posted to Beta Sam Gov. ___________________________________________________________ 14 Feb 2020-- Specifications and Drawings�Published for this Solicitation. ____________________________________________________________ The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District Office requires a contract for the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway, Texas, Aransas National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) Beneficial Use Site (BUS) �B� Breakwater Extension in Aransas County, Texas. Project Information: Construct extension of rock breakwater at GIWW BUS B placement area in Aransas National Wildlife Refuge.� Schedule 1 includes construction of approximately 2,400 foot extension (approx. 16,000 tons) of an existing breakwater at the GIWW beneficial use site (BUS) B within the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge and installation of warning signs. Complete the entire work ready for use not later than 98 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the Notice to Proceed.� Options 1-3 are for 400 foot increments (approx. 2,700 tons each). An additional 8 calendar days will be added for each option awarded.�� Option 4 is for repair of warning signs. An additional 3 calendar days will be added for Option 4 if awarded.�� Completion Time:� Complete the entire work ready for use not later than 98 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the Notice to Proceed.� The project site is within the Whooping Crane bird window.� Whooping Crane window is closed to construction 15 Oct through 15 Apr. If the contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified, the contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the Government in the amount of $2,288.00 for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed or accepted. The contractor will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds within (5) calendar days after award.� The contractor shall begin work within (10) calendar days after receipt of the notice to Proceed.� The Solicitation issued will be Firm Fixed Price.� The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The solicitation is advertised as �UNRESTRICTED� full & open competition to both large and small businesses. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990.� The Small Business Size Standard is $39.5 Million. The solicitation will be issued on or about 14 February 2020.� Response date will be 16 March 2020.� �(All bids must be submitted electronically per Section 00 21 00 of the solicitation).� The estimated award date for this project is April 2020.
