Description
Voltmeter, Phase Angle This is a Request for information (RFI) for written information only. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded as a result of this announcement. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst NJ (NAWCADLKE) requires a Voltmeter, Phase Angle. Definitions: A requirement exists at the Intermediate and Depot Level of Maintenance to perform an adjustment of the force transducer LVDT null position during the assembly of the Flaperon and elevator control modules. The adjustment can be performed using a stimulus signal of 8.0 VRMS @ 1750, 1870, or 1990 HZ. The Phase Angle Voltmeter is a combined phase angle voltmeter and signal generator. It can produce the required UUT PVDT input signal with the ad of its own voltmeter for verification, and can measure the UUT LVDT phase angle outputs with high accuracy. This is specifically designed to support V-22. The maximum output voltage from the signal generator will be 8.5 volts RMS. The maximum output current is 50 MA RMS. The output of the generator is a constant voltage source. The output can be maintained as a true constant voltage source: The instrument will be calibrated specifically at 1870HZ. By using voltage tracking Of the signal generator output, the unit will achieve 0.1% accuracy. This specific V-22 voltmeter is a change to the standard calibration method to provide an extra stringent calibration at 1870 HZ. Operation of the voltmeter at this stringent calibration is accessed by the user by entering a Tracking Mode. This calibration can be performed by Government calibration facilities and the manufacturer will provide the procedures to perform this special calibration. The phase angle voltmeter will be housed in a ruggedized carrying case, and will be provided with a complete users manual. NAWCADLKE is seeking information for industry regarding Voltmeter, Phase Angel. Please provide the following information about Voltmeter, Phase Angle. General description of your Voltmeter, Phase Angle Identification of critical requirements for the Voltmeter, Phase Angle Overview of your Voltmeter, Phase Angle Discuss critical information required for the use of your Voltmeter, Phase Angle Describe environmental testing test methods Provide any additional information you desire General Guidelines Your information package should not exceed 10 pages. Any operation manual provided shall not be counted against this page limit. Responses to this RFI should be submitted to Kimberley.bock@navy.mil no later than 10 days from the date of this posting.
