- Description
- This solicitation has been reissued and the requirement to price freight and unloading upfront has been removed.� The revised closing date is April 22, 2020, Local Time.� Qupotes will be accepted by email of by carrier. Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) has a requirement for providing various 15kV through 245kV, Moderate to High Seismic Disconnect Switches.� WAPA intends to award an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract as a result of this solicitation with a base year and four one year options.� Project location is throughout WAPA. This is a 100% Small Business Set-aside Request for Quotation (RFQ). The assigned NAICS is 335313 with a size standard of 1250 employees. This requirement is being solicited as a commercial item acquisition prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 12 and 13. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated and only new equipment will be accepted. Any questions shall be submitted in writing to Western Area Power Administration, Attn: Greg Cagle, Contract Specialist, 615 S. 43rd Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009-5313 or email to cagle@wapa.gov referencing the solicitation number in the subject line. No phone calls will be accepted. All responsible sources who meet the terms of the solicitation may submit a quote, and will be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be available at beta.sam.gov on or about February 14, 2020. Note: Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award.
