- Page 2 of 2 INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, Fayetteville Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) intends to enter into a sole source procurement with Technical Safety Service LLC. 620 Hearst Avenue Berkeley, CA 84710. NAICS 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. The proposed contract action is for Ventilation Testing Equipment. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a single source. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation. Interested parties may identify their interest in the requirement and capabilities to Keicha.passley@va.gov no later than 12:00 PM EST, April 8, 2020. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the government. (a) This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all expressions of interest received within three (3) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. Interested contractors may identify their capability to provide the services prescribed within this notice, and should provide sufficient data for the government to determine them as a comparable alternative to the intended source. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation will be made available.
