THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE � THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT�S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD CONTRACT TO WEST PUBLISHING CORPORATION FOR SOFTWARE LICENSE UPDATES The Department of Defense (DoD), Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate, (WHS/AD) intends to award a sole source contract under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Certain Commercial Items implemented in the Federal Acquisition Regulation, FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i) �Soliciting from a single source.� WHS/AD intends to issue a firm-fixed price contract to West Publishing Corporation dba Thomas Reuters, 610 Opperman Drive, Eagan, MN, 55123-1340, (DUNS: 148508286, CAGE Code: 89101). C-Track is a proprietary, Thomson Reuters-owned court case management system that Thomson Reuters tailored for unique requirements. Thomson Reuters is the sole entity permitted to license C-Track in the United States.� The contract is necessary to provide software license updates, which deliver, store, and manage data. �The anticipated period of performance will be for one 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods. � The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 518210, Data Processing, Hosting, and Related Services. Small Business Size Standard of $35,000,000.00 annual sales. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged.
