Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to procure a quantity of 18 Hydraulic Pumps, P/N 30B1E1B2-R20 to support the Engineer Change Proposal for the Peculiar Support Equipment Oil Flow Testers in support of the T700 engine for the H-60 and H-1 Helicopter Programs. This procurement will be a limited competition among the Original Equipment Manufacturer, Danfoss Fluid Power and their authorized distributors.� This notice is a follow-up to the Sources Sought notice N68335-20-Q-0211. All interested parties shall provide proof of OEM authorization to distribute. The proposed contract action is for a requirement for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response this notice. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
