Description
THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY.� THERE IS NO SOLICITATION PACKAGE AVAILABLE.� The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division in Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) is looking to identify potential sources and requesting information pertaining to the availability of reliable nitrogen gas generators. The nitrogen generators shall employ membrane technology to produce nitrogen gas from ambient air. The production rate of the generators shall be 25 SCFM minimum. The nitrogen gas produced shall meet the A-A-59503C Type I, Grade B, Class 1 requirements. The generators shall be capable of producing nitrogen gas with output pressures up to 5,000 PSIG. �These generators will be operated in an outdoor environment to support Navy/USMC aircraft at forward deployed sites. The generators may be skid mounted or trailer mounted. The Government is seeking industry input to assist in identifying features and approaches to meet the general requirements described above. Please note that the Government will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties responding to this RFI. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Interested sources should provide this nitrogen gas generator information and related data to John Murtagh, john.c.murtagh@navy.mil, no later than� 30 days (with the reference being sooner) after the post date of this RFI. All information sent should reference this RFI number on the subject response line of the emailed response as well as on all enclosed documents. Responses must include the company name, address, point of contact name and email/phone, and company size. Proprietary data MUST be marked on a page-by-page basis and will be kept confidential and protected where so designated. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP. Any comments provided may or may not be included in a formal solicitation. Respondents may provide information and Rough Orders of Magnitude (ROM) on any currently available product or a company's' capabilities that will meet the Navy's requirements. Responses must be received no later than May 06, 2020 by 5pm EST.
