Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. 12505B20S996518 is being issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-04. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 112120 (Dairy Cattle and Milk Production).ï¿½ This requirement is 100% set aside for small business. For a small company to qualify as a small business, the small business standard is $1M. The USDA, ARS, MWA, Lexington, Kentucky has a requirement forï¿½beef steerï¿½meeting the following minimum requirements: 24 each Breed: Angus-cross Gender: steers Avg weight: 550 lbs. Grade: 1 Veterinary requirements: tagged, vaccinated, dewormed, veterinary certification for health and disposition, certified pre-conditioned for ï¿½Health 45 Standardsï¿½; including weaned for more than 45 days, vaccinated and trained to drink from automatic waters. The basis for award is Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA).
