Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SINGLE-AWARD PURCHASE ORDER IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR 13.106-1(b). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS. �The US Army Geospatial Center intends to enter into a single-award Firm Fixed Price Commercial Purchase Order with Blue Marble Group, Inc. (22 Carriage Lane, Hallowell, ME 04347, CAGE 037S5, DUNS 806743092) for its proprietary Global Mapper software, Advanced LiDAR Processing Module for Global Mapper software, and Blue Marble Group�s online software training courses.� The period of performance will be a base year and two, one-year option periods. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 511210 Software Publishers with a size standard of $41.5M. Blue Marble Geographics is the sole source provider of all Blue Marble software products and relative services including Global Mapper & Geographic�Calculator software products, all extensions they contain and all onsite or public training courses and/or annual software maintenance & support services. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. All responses received by 12:00 pm EDT on 8 April 2020 will be considered by the Government. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror's capability to provide these items. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Questions shall be submitted electronically to Contracting Officer, Zachary Garst at zachary.a.garst@usace.army.mil.
